या त्वं कृत्याऽप्रियं ब्रूते मूका सा जायते खलु । या सपत्नीं सदेर्ष्येत दुर्भगा सा पुनःपुन्ः
yā tvaṃ kṛtyā'priyaṃ brūte mūkā sā jāyate khalu | yā sapatnīṃ saderṣyeta durbhagā sā punaḥpunḥ
Mas aquela que se habitua a dizer palavras desagradáveis nasce, de fato, muda. E aquela que continuamente inveja a coesposa torna-se desditosa, vez após vez, em renascimentos repetidos.
