न गर्तेषु ससत्वेषु न तिष्ठन्न व्रजन्नपि । गोविप्रसूर्यवाय्वग्नि चंद्रर्क्षांबु गुरूनपि
na garteṣu sasatveṣu na tiṣṭhanna vrajannapi | goviprasūryavāyvagni caṃdrarkṣāṃbu gurūnapi
Não se deve evacuar em covas onde haja seres vivos, nem de pé nem mesmo caminhando. Tampouco se deve fazê-lo voltado para vacas, brāhmaṇas, o sol, o vento, o fogo, a lua, as estrelas, a água, ou para os anciãos e mestres.
