कुंभाकारं दरिद्राया जठरं च मृदंगवत् । कूष्मांडाभं यवाभं च दुष्पूरं जायते स्त्रियाः
kuṃbhākāraṃ daridrāyā jaṭharaṃ ca mṛdaṃgavat | kūṣmāṃḍābhaṃ yavābhaṃ ca duṣpūraṃ jāyate striyāḥ
Diz-se que o ventre em forma de pote pertence a uma mulher pobre; e um ventre como tambor—como abóbora ou como cevada—torna-se, na mulher, difícil de saciar, sempre exigente.
