आमौलिं वाऽललाटंवाऽनासमूर्ध्वप्रमाणतः । ब्रह्मक्षत्रविशां दंडस्त्वगाढ्योनाग्निदूषितः

Transliteration

āmauliṃ vā'lalāṭaṃvā'nāsamūrdhvapramāṇataḥ | brahmakṣatraviśāṃ daṃḍastvagāḍhyonāgnidūṣitaḥ

Translation

Sua medida deve alcançar o alto da cabeça, ou a testa, ou ao menos a altura desde o nariz para cima. O bastão de brāhmaṇa, kṣatriya e vaiśya deve ser firme e espesso, e não estar maculado pelo fogo (não chamuscado nem danificado).
