स्कंद उवाच । सम्यगापृच्छि भवता काशीवासिसमाहितम् । कुंभसंभव विप्रर्षे दंडपाणि कथानकम्
skaṃda uvāca | samyagāpṛcchi bhavatā kāśīvāsisamāhitam | kuṃbhasaṃbhava viprarṣe daṃḍapāṇi kathānakam
Skanda disse: Perguntaste bem, ó Kumbha-sambhava, ó melhor dos brāhmaṇas, acerca do relato de Daṇḍapāṇi, devoto de Kāśī e recolhido em sua sacralidade.
