हिरण्यगर्भस्तं प्राह जाने त्वां चंद्रशेखरम् । भालस्थलान्ममपुरा रुद्रः प्रादुरभूद्भवान्
hiraṇyagarbhastaṃ prāha jāne tvāṃ caṃdraśekharam | bhālasthalānmamapurā rudraḥ prādurabhūdbhavān
Hiraṇyagarbha (Brahmā) disse-lhe: «Eu te conheço como Candraśekhara; outrora, manifestaste-te como Rudra a partir da região da minha fronte».
