नास्तीह दुष्कृतकृतां सुकृतात्मनां वा काचिद्विशेषगतिरंतकृतां हि काश्याम् । बीजानि कर्मजनितानि यदूषरायां नांकूरंयति हरदृग्ज्वलितानितेषाम्

nāstīha duṣkṛtakṛtāṃ sukṛtātmanāṃ vā kācidviśeṣagatiraṃtakṛtāṃ hi kāśyām | bījāni karmajanitāni yadūṣarāyāṃ nāṃkūraṃyati haradṛgjvalitāniteṣām

Aqui em Kāśī não há um rumo especial após a morte, nem para os que praticaram o mal nem para os de natureza virtuosa; pois em Kāśī o Senhor que põe fim à própria morte concede a mesma passagem suprema. As sementes nascidas do karma, quando são queimadas pelo olhar flamejante de Hara, não brotam—como sementes lançadas em solo estéril que jamais germinam.
