इत्थं परिष्टुत्य स कार्तिकेयं नमो नमस्त्वित्यभिभाषमाणः । द्विस्त्रिःपरिक्रम्य पुरो विवेश स्थितो मुनीशोपविशेति चोक्तः
itthaṃ pariṣṭutya sa kārtikeyaṃ namo namastvityabhibhāṣamāṇaḥ | dvistriḥparikramya puro viveśa sthito munīśopaviśeti coktaḥ
Assim, após exaltar Kārtikeya e repetir muitas vezes: «Homenagem, homenagem a Ti», circundou-O em pradakṣiṇā duas ou três vezes e então entrou diante d’Ele. Ali, de pé, foi-lhe dito: «Ó senhor entre os sábios, senta-te».
