Transliteration

tasmātsarvaprayatnena gopanīyaṃ nidhānavat | sukṛtaṃ kīrtanādvyarthaṃ bhavedbhasmahutaṃ tathā

Translation

Por isso, com todo esforço, deve-se ocultar o mérito como se fosse um tesouro. Ao vangloriar-se dele, a boa ação torna-se estéril, como uma oferenda lançada às cinzas.
