इदं रम्यमिदं नेति बीजं दुःखमहातरोः । तस्मिन्काश्यग्निना दग्धे दुःखस्यावसरः कुतः
idaṃ ramyamidaṃ neti bījaṃ duḥkhamahātaroḥ | tasminkāśyagninā dagdhe duḥkhasyāvasaraḥ kutaḥ
«Isto é agradável, isto não é»—tal apego e rejeição são a semente da grande árvore do sofrimento. Quando essa semente é queimada pelo fogo de Kāśī, onde poderá a dor encontrar apoio?
