Transliteration

caraṇau viṣṇuśaraṇau hitvā nārāyaṇāṃgaṇam | tasya no caratonyatra carato vipulaṃ tapaḥ

Translation

Mesmo deixando os pés protetores de Viṣṇu e o próprio pátio de Nārāyaṇa, seus pés não iam a outro lugar: tão vasta e firme era a austeridade que praticava.
