इत्यनुज्ञामनुप्राप्य जननी चरणांबुजौ । क्षणं मौलिजजंबाल जडौ कृत्वा ध्रुवो ययौ
ityanujñāmanuprāpya jananī caraṇāṃbujau | kṣaṇaṃ maulijajaṃbāla jaḍau kṛtvā dhruvo yayau
Assim, tendo obtido a permissão, Dhruva prostrou-se e agarrou-se aos pés de lótus de sua mãe; com a rede de cabelos de sua cabeça, deixou-os imóveis por um instante, e então partiu.
