Transliteration

mamākṣipasi viproccaiḥ kiṃ mayā caurya karmaṇā | labdhā mudrā tvadīyena putreṇaiṣā mamārpitā

Translation

«Por que me acusas tão alto, ó brāhmaṇa? Que tenho eu a ver com roubo? Este anel-sinete foi obtido do teu próprio filho; foi ele quem mo entregou.»
