तदा युप्यस्यशेषेण पिंगाक्षो मृगयां गतः । तस्मिन्नरण्ये तन्मार्गं निकषाध्युषितो निशि
tadā yupyasyaśeṣeṇa piṃgākṣo mṛgayāṃ gataḥ | tasminnaraṇye tanmārgaṃ nikaṣādhyuṣito niśi
Então Piṅgākṣa saiu à caça, levando apenas o pequeno resto de suas provisões e apetrechos. Naquela floresta, esse caminho foi ocupado à noite, vigiado de perto por quem estava de emboscada.
