Transliteration

siṃhaveṣo'bhavaddaityo mahābalaparākramaḥ | devī tasya śiroyāvacchettuṃ buddhimadhārayat

Translation

O daitya assumiu a forma de um leão, dotado de grande força e bravura. A Devī concebeu o intento de decepar-lhe a cabeça.
