महिष उवाच । चंडकोप महावीर्य युद्ध्यस्वैनां दुरात्मिकाम् । तथास्त्विति स चोक्त्वाथ चंडकोपः प्रतापवान्
mahiṣa uvāca | caṃḍakopa mahāvīrya yuddhyasvaināṃ durātmikām | tathāstviti sa coktvātha caṃḍakopaḥ pratāpavān
Mahīṣa disse: «Ó Caṇḍakopa de grande vigor, combate esta mulher de ânimo perverso!» Dizendo «Assim seja», o valente Caṇḍakopa se aprontou para o embate.
