मया बाणेन विपिने मृगो विद्धोऽधुना मुने । दृष्टः स किं त्वया विद्वन्विद्रुतो भयकातरः
mayā bāṇena vipine mṛgo viddho'dhunā mune | dṛṣṭaḥ sa kiṃ tvayā vidvanvidruto bhayakātaraḥ
«Ó muni, agora mesmo um veado foi ferido por minha flecha na floresta. Ó sábio, tu o viste fugir, tomado de medo?»
