Transliteration

tarppaṇaṃ pratyahaṃ kāryaṃ bhartuḥ kuśatilodakaiḥ | tatpitustatpituścāpi nāmagotrādipūrvakam

Translation

Diariamente deve-se realizar o tarpaṇa, a oferenda de água, ao esposo com água misturada com a relva kuśa e gergelim; e do mesmo modo ao seu pai e ao seu avô, precedendo-o pela correta menção de seus nomes, gotra e demais identificações rituais.
