दातुः श्राद्धफलं नास्ति भोक्ता किल्बिषभुग्भवेत् । न धारयेदन्यभुक्तं वासश्चोपानहावपि
dātuḥ śrāddhaphalaṃ nāsti bhoktā kilbiṣabhugbhavet | na dhārayedanyabhuktaṃ vāsaścopānahāvapi
Se o que foi oferecido é consumido de modo impróprio, o doador perde o fruto do śrāddha e o que come torna-se partícipe de falta. Não se deve usar roupas—nem mesmo calçados—que tenham sido usados por outro.
