युधिष्ठिर उवाच । पाराशर्य समाख्याहि सदाचारं च मे प्रभो । आचाराद्धर्ममाप्नोति आचाराल्लभते फलम् । आचाराच्छ्रियमाप्नोति तदाचारं वदस्व मे
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | pārāśarya samākhyāhi sadācāraṃ ca me prabho | ācārāddharmamāpnoti ācārāllabhate phalam | ācārācchriyamāpnoti tadācāraṃ vadasva me
Yudhiṣṭhira disse: Ó filho de Parāśara, ó Senhor, explica-me a senda da reta conduta. Pela conduta alcança-se o Dharma; pela conduta recebe-se o fruto; pela conduta obtém-se prosperidade—por isso, diz-me qual é essa conduta.
