व्यास उवाच । कलौ प्राप्ते द्विजाः सर्वे स्थानभ्रष्टा यतस्ततः । पक्षमुत्कलं ग्रहीष्यंति तथा स्युः पक्षपातिनः
vyāsa uvāca | kalau prāpte dvijāḥ sarve sthānabhraṣṭā yatastataḥ | pakṣamutkalaṃ grahīṣyaṃti tathā syuḥ pakṣapātinaḥ
Vyāsa disse: Quando Kali tiver chegado, todos os duas-vezes-nascidos, desviados de seus devidos lugares aqui e ali, tomarão partidos e facções; e assim se tornarão parciais e tendenciosos.
