इन्द्र उवाच । अयं च खलु धर्मराड् तपस्तुग्रेवतिष्ठते । मम राज्याभिकांक्षोऽसावतोर्थे यत्यतामिह
indra uvāca | ayaṃ ca khalu dharmarāḍ tapastugrevatiṣṭhate | mama rājyābhikāṃkṣo'sāvatorthe yatyatāmiha
Indra disse: «De fato, este Dharmarāṭ permanece firme em áspera austeridade. Ele deseja a minha soberania; por isso, com esse propósito, que aqui se faça o esforço».
