Transliteration

ekaviṃśativāraistu gayāyāṃ piṃḍapātane | tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti sakṛdasmiñchrute sati

Translation

Ao oferecer os piṇḍas (bolas de arroz) em Gayā vinte e uma vezes, alcança-se o seu fruto; contudo, esse mesmo fruto é obtido também ao ouvir uma só vez esta narrativa sagrada.
