Type: kshetra
Scene: A sacrificial arena: Brahmā offers oblations; the Lord of gods appears, radiant, granting a boon while warning that His Māyā is formidable. Attendants, fire-altars, and cosmic light emphasize divine sovereignty.
Even exalted beings receive boons by devotion and sacrifice, yet the Lord’s Māyā remains a profound power not easily overcome.
The broader context is Dharmāraṇya and its emerging tīrtha-mahātmya, though this verse itself focuses on the boon-giving Lord.
Offering made for the sake of yajña (sacrificial purpose) is highlighted as the cause of divine satisfaction.
