Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 55
देवा ऊचुः । प्रदास्यामो वयं वम्र्यै भागं यज्ञेषु सर्वदा । यज्ञाय दत्तमस्माभिः कुरुष्वैवं वचो हि नः
devā ūcuḥ | pradāsyāmo vayaṃ vamryai bhāgaṃ yajñeṣu sarvadā | yajñāya dattamasmābhiḥ kuruṣvaivaṃ vaco hi naḥ
Os Devas disseram: «Concederemos sempre à Vamrya uma parte nos yajñas. Agora faze o que te pedimos; o que demos foi em favor do yajña.»
