श्रुत्वा कथां महापुण्यां ब्रह्मन्ब्रह्मांडगां शुभाम् । गुणपूर्णां सत्ययुक्तां तेन हर्षेण हर्षितः

Transliteration

śrutvā kathāṃ mahāpuṇyāṃ brahmanbrahmāṃḍagāṃ śubhām | guṇapūrṇāṃ satyayuktāṃ tena harṣeṇa harṣitaḥ

Translation

Tendo ouvido essa narrativa sumamente meritória e auspiciosa—que se difunde por todo o cosmos, ó brâmane—plena de virtudes e unida à verdade, alegrei-me com júbilo profundo.
