इदानीं श्रोतुमिच्छामो माहात्म्यं त्रिपुरद्विषः । तद्भक्तानां च माहात्म्यमशेषाघहरं परम्
idānīṃ śrotumicchāmo māhātmyaṃ tripuradviṣaḥ | tadbhaktānāṃ ca māhātmyamaśeṣāghaharaṃ param
«Agora desejamos ouvir a grandeza do inimigo de Tripura (Śiva) e também a grandeza de Seus devotos—suprema, que destrói todo pecado sem deixar resíduo.»
