Lord Shiva

It teaches that the jīva’s embodied term is governed by ripened karma (prārabdha); until that allotted span is complete, “untimely death” cannot override the ordained order. In Shaiva Siddhanta, Shiva as Pati upholds niyati (cosmic law) and protects the soul’s rightful course toward purification.
Worship of Saguna Shiva in the Linga form cultivates surrender (śaraṇāgati) to Shiva as the Lord of time and death. The devotee learns to trust that life and death move under Shiva’s governance, reducing fear and strengthening dharma and bhakti.
Meditate on Shiva as Mṛtyuñjaya (the conqueror of death) and repeat the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with steady japa; offer water and bilva to the Linga with the intent of removing mṛtyu-bhaya and stabilizing prāṇa.
