Bondage and Liberation: The Prakṛti–Karma Wheel and Śiva as the Transcendent Cause
दर्भाग्नौ वा दहेत्काष्ठं शिवमंत्रं समुच्चरन् । सम्यक्संशोध्य वस्त्रेण नवकुंभे निधापयेत्
darbhāgnau vā dahetkāṣṭhaṃ śivamaṃtraṃ samuccaran | samyaksaṃśodhya vastreṇa navakuṃbhe nidhāpayet
Ou então, acendendo o fogo com a relva darbha, deve-se queimar a lenha enquanto se recita o mantra de Śiva. Depois, tendo-o purificado bem e coado por um pano, deve-se colocá-lo num pote de água novo.

Kindle a darbha-assisted sacred fire, recite the Śiva-mantra (Pañcākṣarī), purify by straining through cloth, and store in a new kumbha—an abhiṣeka preparation performed with mantra-japa and ritual cleanliness.
