Ali, Yama honra os que realizaram obras auspiciosas—acolhendo-os com hospitalidade reverente: oferecendo assento adequado, água para lavar os pés, a respeitosa oferenda de arghya e outras atenções agradáveis.

Tattva Level: pashu
Offering: naivedya
Cosmic Event: karmaphala distribution: auspicious deeds yield respectful reception even in Yama’s realm
It teaches that dharmic, auspicious action is not lost: even in Yama’s domain, the righteous are received with honor—showing the moral order that ultimately supports the soul’s progress toward Shiva’s grace and liberation.
By implying that devotion and righteous conduct aligned with Shiva’s dharma refine the jīva; such purity leads to favorable post-death passage and prepares one for higher devotion to Saguna Shiva and, ultimately, realization beyond bondage (pāśa).
The verse highlights dharmic living and respectful hospitality; as a Shaiva takeaway, combine ethical conduct with daily Shiva upāsanā—japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and simple pūjā offerings made with sincerity.
