Umāyāḥ Kriyāyoga-Rahasya
The Esoteric Teaching on Umā’s Kriyāyoga

It defines true devotion as an inner realization—cultivating unity between the soul and the Supreme—showing that bhakti is not mere emotion but a transformative discipline that leads toward liberation under Shaiva understanding.
Linga and Saguna worship become effective when they mature into inner aikya-bhāvanā (oneness-contemplation). External worship supports the inward movement from form-based devotion to direct recognition of Shiva as the Supreme Reality.
A practical takeaway is to combine daily Shiva-puja (kriyā) with steady japa—especially of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya)—and meditation on Shiva’s presence as the inner Self, so devotion becomes continuous contemplation.
