Mahiṣāsura’s Conquest of Svarga and the Devas’ Appeal to Śiva and Viṣṇu

ततः पाशं समुत्थाय क्षिप्त्वा तस्योपरी श्वरी । बबन्ध महिषं सोऽपि रूपन्तत्याज माहिषम्

tataḥ pāśaṃ samutthāya kṣiptvā tasyoparī śvarī | babandha mahiṣaṃ so'pi rūpantatyāja māhiṣam

Então a Deusa soberana ergueu-se, levantou o seu laço (pāśa) e lançou-o sobre ele. Ela amarrou o demônio-búfalo, e ele também abandonou a forma de búfalo.
