उपमन्यूपदेशः

Upamanyu’s Instruction

आपः प्रनष्टाः सर्वाश्च पूर्वरोषात्कपर्द्दिनः । शर्वं समकपालेन देवैरिष्ट्वा प्रवर्तितम्

āpaḥ pranaṣṭāḥ sarvāśca pūrvaroṣātkaparddinaḥ | śarvaṃ samakapālena devairiṣṭvā pravartitam

Todas as águas haviam desaparecido por causa da ira anterior de Kapardin (Śiva). Então os deuses adoraram Śarva com uma oferenda completa na tigela-crânio, e por esse rito o fluxo sagrado voltou a mover-se.
