Na metade superior, quatro vezes mais elevada que Janaloka, é mencionado o reino chamado Tapoloka. Ali habitam os deuses conhecidos como Vairājas, firmes e livres da aflição ardente (o calor do mundo).

Tattva Level: pasha
It points to Tapoloka as a purified plane attained through sustained tapas, symbolizing the Shaiva Siddhanta movement from pāśa (binding impurities) toward serenity where the ‘burning’ of worldly affliction no longer dominates consciousness.
Tapas is presented as an inner discipline that ripens the devotee for Saguna Shiva worship—such as Linga-upāsanā—by reducing agitation and karmic heat, making the mind fit for steady devotion and contemplation of Shiva as Pati (the Lord).
The takeaway is sustained meditation and austerity—regular japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with a disciplined life—aimed at cooling inner ‘dāha’ (restlessness and suffering) and stabilizing devotion.
