Description of the Supreme State / One’s True Attainment
Lord Krishna
Tattva Level: pashu
Significance: Models the bhakta’s inner pilgrimage: steadiness (dhairya), añjali, and stuti culminating in ānanda—seen as a foretaste of Śiva’s anugraha.
Type: stotra
Role: nurturing
It teaches that unwavering inner steadiness (dhairya) combined with heartfelt praise (stuti) draws the devotee into paramānanda—an experience of Shiva’s grace where the mind becomes absorbed beyond ordinary ritual merit.
The verse highlights Saguna-upāsanā through stotras and reverent posture (prāñjali). In the Shiva Purana, such praise commonly culminates in the Lord’s tangible grace—often associated with Linga-centered worship—leading the devotee toward inner absorption.
Offer stotra-pāṭha with folded hands during worship or sacred observances, maintaining dhairya (steady attention). As a practical takeaway, combine mantra-japa (e.g., Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with devotional hymns to cultivate focused absorption.
