शुक्रनिग्रहः — The Seizure/Neutralization of Śukra (Kāvya) and the Daityas’ Despondency

ततः कोलाहलो जातः प्रमथासुरसैन्ययोः । तेन शब्देन महता शुक्रश्शंभूदरे स्थ्ग्तिः

Transliteration

tataḥ kolāhalo jātaḥ pramathāsurasainyayoḥ | tena śabdena mahatā śukraśśaṃbhūdare sthgtiḥ

Translation

Então ergueu-se um grande tumulto entre os exércitos dos Pramathas e dos Asuras. Por aquele bramido poderoso, Śukra ficou oprimido—sua compostura foi contida dentro do âmbito do poder de Śambhu (Śiva).
