Transliteration

hiraṇyakaśipurbhrātussaṃparetasya duḥkhitaḥ | kṛtvā karodakādīni tatkalatrādyasāṃtvayat

Translation

Entristecido pelo irmão que deixara esta vida, Hiraṇyakaśipu realizou os ritos fúnebres conforme o costume, começando pela oferenda de água; e depois consolou a esposa do irmão e os demais familiares enlutados.
