हिरण्यकशिपोः क्रोधः तथा देवप्रजाकदनम् — Hiraṇyakaśipu’s Wrath and the Affliction of Devas and Beings
आराधयामासुरतीव विष्णुं स्तुत्वा वचोभित्सुखदं हि मत्वा । निवेदयामासुरथो प्रसन्नं दुःखं स्वकीयं सकलं हि तेते
ārādhayāmāsuratīva viṣṇuṃ stutvā vacobhitsukhadaṃ hi matvā | nivedayāmāsuratho prasannaṃ duḥkhaṃ svakīyaṃ sakalaṃ hi tete
Então eles adoraram Viṣṇu com grande devoção. Tendo-O louvado com palavras—que julgaram ser verdadeiro consolo—aproximaram-se d’Ele com ânimo sereno e receptivo e Lhe expuseram por completo toda a sua própria dor.

Even within a Shaiva text, the episode shows Saguna worship as accessible support—devotees approach a personal form of the Divine with stuti and surrender. In Shaiva Siddhānta, such devotion ultimately matures into reliance on Pati (Śiva) as the supreme bestower of anugraha (grace).
The verse implies stuti (hymnic praise) and śaraṇāgati (surrender): recite a chosen stotra/mantra with humility, then mentally offer one’s full distress to the Lord; this pairs well with japa of “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” as a Shaiva daily practice.
