Lord Shiva
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Role: liberating
The verse emphasizes Shiva’s role as Pati (the Lord) whose ājñā (command) and anugraha (grace) remove obstacles—when approached with ādarā (reverence), outcomes align with dharma and the sought purpose is fulfilled.
It reflects Saguna Shiva as the compassionate, directive Lord who actively guides events; in Linga-worship this same principle is invoked—through reverent approach, the devotee seeks Shiva’s sanction so that the intended spiritual or worldly aim is rightly accomplished.
The takeaway is disciplined reverence: approach with humility after invoking Shiva’s blessing—mentally repeat the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” and act only after seeking the Lord’s inner permission (ājñā) through prayer.
