It highlights that true Shaiva devotion is expressed through humility (praṇāma) and heartfelt praise (stuti); when beings of different orders offer sincere bhakti, they align themselves with Shiva’s grace, which is central to liberation in Shaiva Siddhanta.
The act of bowing and offering stuti reflects Saguna worship—approaching Shiva as the accessible Lord who receives devotion; such reverence is the living spirit behind Linga-puja, where pranama and hymns accompany offerings.
A simple practice is to begin worship with pranama and then recite a Shiva-stotra or the Panchakshara mantra (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with bhakti, allowing each devotee to offer praise in their own sincere words.
