दक्षस्य विष्णुं प्रति शरणागतिḥ — Dakṣa’s Appeal to Viṣṇu and the Teaching on Disrespect to Śiva
दक्ष उवाच । देवदेव हरे विष्णो दीनबंधो कृपानिधे । मम रक्षा विधातव्या भवता साध्वरस्य च
dakṣa uvāca | devadeva hare viṣṇo dīnabaṃdho kṛpānidhe | mama rakṣā vidhātavyā bhavatā sādhvarasya ca
Dakṣa disse: «Ó Deus dos deuses—Hari, Viṣṇu—amigo dos aflitos, oceano de compaixão! Deves conceder proteção a mim e também a esta pessoa justa (devota).»
