The verse teaches that Śiva’s anugraha (grace) is natural and consistent; what appears miraculous is simply the Supreme Lord’s inherent sovereignty, and steadfastness in one’s sacred resolve is supported by Him.
By affirming that nothing is ‘astonishing’ for Parameśvara, it strengthens faith in Saguna Śiva worship—such as Linga-upāsanā—where the devotee relies on Śiva’s accessible, compassionate lordship to uphold dharma and grant well-being.
The practical takeaway is to maintain one’s vrata/paṇa with steadiness and to anchor the mind in Śiva through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), trusting that the Lord sustains the devotee’s resolve.
