सती-शिवचरित्रप्रसङ्गः / The Account of Satī and Śiva’s Divine Conduct
Prelude to Detailed Narrative
अवतीर्णं क्षितौ साधुरक्षणाय भवाय नः । इत्युक्त्वा विररामाऽसौ शंभुस्मृतिकरः प्रभुः
avatīrṇaṃ kṣitau sādhurakṣaṇāya bhavāya naḥ | ityuktvā virarāmā'sau śaṃbhusmṛtikaraḥ prabhuḥ
“Ele desceu à terra para proteger os virtuosos e para o nosso bem.” Tendo dito isso, aquele Senhor, que desperta em todos a lembrança de Śambhu (Śiva), silenciou.
