दक्षस्य तपः तथा जगदम्बायाः प्रत्यक्षता — Dakṣa’s Austerities and the Direct Manifestation of Jagadambā

A Deusa disse: “Ó Dakṣa, estou imensamente satisfeita com esta tua devoção sincera. Escolhe uma dádiva conforme o desejo do teu coração; para ti, nada há que Eu não conceda.”
Devī (Satī/Umā as the Goddess addressing Dakṣa)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Umāpati
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: liberating
It highlights anugraha (divine grace): sincere, steady devotion (sat-bhakti) draws the Goddess’s favor, showing that spiritual progress is ultimately fulfilled by grace responding to genuine bhakti.
Though the verse is spoken by Devī, it reflects the Saguna principle central to Shaiva worship: the personal Divine responds relationally to devotion, which is the same devotional foundation used in Linga worship and Shiva-upāsanā.
The takeaway is cultivating sat-bhakti through daily japa (especially the Panchākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), along with simple Shiva-devotional observances such as offering water to the Linga and maintaining purity of intention.
