Brahmā disse: Tendo assim falado, aquela senhora brāhmaṇa prostrou-se com profunda reverência diante dela e então silenciou. Em seguida, Śivā—Pārvatī, amada de Śaṅkara—alcançou uma alegria transbordante.

The verse highlights the Shaiva virtue of vinaya (humble reverence): sincere bowing and respectful silence culminate in inner upliftment, and Pārvatī’s joy signifies the auspiciousness that arises when devotion aligns with Śiva’s grace.
By calling Pārvatī “beloved of Śaṅkara,” the text centers Saguna Śiva—Śaṅkara with Śakti—where devotion expressed through respectful conduct becomes a direct mode of worship, akin to honoring the Liṅga with upacāras (reverential offerings).
Practice namaskāra (prostration) with mental japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and cultivate mauna (disciplined silence) after prayer, letting devotion settle into calm remembrance of Śiva.
