पार्वत्याः यात्रासंस्कारः तथा पातिव्रत्योपदेशः / Preparations for Girijā’s Auspicious Journey and the Teaching on Pātivratya

कुर्यात्पत्यननुज्ञाता नोपवासव्रतादिकम् । अन्यथा तत्फलं नास्ति परत्र नरकम्व्रजेत्

A esposa não deve assumir jejuns, votos (vrata) e observâncias semelhantes sem a permissão do marido. Caso contrário, seu fruto se perde e, no além, ela iria ao inferno.
