पार्वत्याः तपः-परीक्षा (Śiva Tests Pārvatī’s Austerity)
हित्वेन्द्रप्रमुखान्देवान् हरिं ब्रह्माणमेव च । पतिं पिनाकपाणिं वै प्राप्नुमिच्छति पार्वती
hitvendrapramukhāndevān hariṃ brahmāṇameva ca | patiṃ pinākapāṇiṃ vai prāpnumicchati pārvatī

By naming Śiva as Pinākapāṇi, the verse emphasizes Saguna Śiva—Śiva with attributes and a personal form—who is approachable through devotion, pūjā, and Linga-worship, while still being the supreme reality behind all forms.
