Tendo dito isso, todas as Kṛttikās colocaram Kārttikeya junto ao peito. Mas, de imediato, caíram desfalecidas, vencidas pela dor causada pela separação do filho.

Tattva Level: pashu
Role: nurturing
It highlights viraha-bhakti: intense love that becomes unbearable at the prospect of separation. In Shaiva understanding, such purified affection—when directed toward the Divine—can mature into surrender and grace.
Though the scene centers on Kārttikeya, it supports Saguna devotion: the Divine is approached through embodied līlā and relationships (parental love, protection, separation), which ultimately lead the devotee toward Shiva’s grace behind all forms.
A practical takeaway is bhakti-smaraṇa: contemplative remembrance of Shiva’s family-līlā while repeating the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), transforming emotional intensity into steady devotion.
