गणेशोत्पत्ति-प्रसङ्गः / Episode on the Origin of Gaṇeśa (Śvetakalpa Account)

Esses Pramathas são, de fato, incontáveis; nenhum deles nos pertence. Todos permanecem à porta, inteiramente devotados a cumprir a ordem de Śaṅkara.
Kartikeya (Skanda)

It highlights that Śiva’s divine attendants (Pramathas) are innumerable and act solely under Śaṅkara’s will, teaching that true spiritual power in Shaiva Siddhanta is disciplined service (śiva-ājñā-sevā) rather than personal claim or ownership.
By emphasizing obedience to Śaṅkara’s command, the verse supports Saguna Shiva worship where the devotee approaches Shiva (often through the Linga) with reverence, recognizing Shiva as the supreme Lord whose sanctum and threshold are guarded by his ganas.
A practical takeaway is to cultivate ājñā-bhakti—daily japa of the Panchakshara mantra (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with disciplined conduct—approaching Shiva’s worship-space as a guarded sacred threshold, with humility and steadiness.
