Andhakeśvara-liṅga Māhātmya and Śiva’s Subjugation of Andhaka

It highlights that true spiritual power is rooted in humble devotion: even a mighty divine force like Sudarśana attains auspiciousness through heartfelt worship of Girijā, praising her with pure stotras.
In Shaiva understanding, Girijā (Śakti) is inseparable from Śiva; devotion to her supports Saguna worship and strengthens the devotee’s approach to Śiva, including Linga-upāsanā, by aligning with Śiva-Śakti unity.
The verse emphasizes stotra-pāṭha (recitation of auspicious hymns) performed with mahābhakti, in a structured pūjā-mārga (here, the Caṇḍī-style method), as a practical devotional discipline.
